Sitting up

What were you doing from 2:50 to 3:20? I got to see Jacob sit on the edge of his bed and for a time did not need the help of his for attebdants. He also intentionally move his groggy gaze from Mom to Dad to Papa. I am now sitting watching him with eyes open explore with his left hand the brace on his right and whatever other texture he can touch. This morning we prayed for a baby leap. This really feels like. He is not thrashing but exploring trying to figure things out. So thankful so encouraging as we continue to wait

What a huge milestone for Jacob!!! I told my partner in crime there he will be a different kid in ten days! I hate to miss these so important stages of awakening. God bless and see you next week.

Wow, that was huge! And I thought the Giants beating the Dodgers at that time was big. So glad to hear it's a great day!

I am so excited this was such an encouraging day! It must be like watching a baby bird peck its way out of a shell a little bit at a time. Pecking, then resting, but getting strong enough to live outside the shell the whole time. God, thank you for this huge blessing! Thank you for hearing and answering our prayers!

Tears and joy! "Not by might, not by power, but by my spirit," says the Lord. May His spirit continue to reign on and through you, your son and this amazing journey.

What an amazing thing. SO very happy. I continue to pray that Jacob will heal and that he will be up and walking in no time. I pray for complete healing of all his wounds and infections. I pray that he will be off the meds very soon and smiling and laughing in no time. God you are a God of miracles. You heal and comfort and restore. I pray for complete restoration of Jacob's body. You know his needs and You promise to meet our needs. I pray you continue to give him rest and to bring him back to his old self.
Praise be to God from whom ALL blessings flow.
