Surgery #3

It is just after 9AM and I right now am going to keep this simple...Jacob is heading into surgery again. He had a hard night of thrashing. This was a new nurse for us but she echoed what they all have been saying, "he is strong." Atta boy. Keep fighting. Keep longing for that perfect wave. Many are praying all over the world. My prayer has continued to be that God would envelop Jacob in His loving arms - though I cannot hold him, God can - he is much stronger, much wiser, much more sufficient than I. Though I am so weak and weary, God is strong and able.

God Give wisdom to the doctors and nurses that are involved with Jacob. let your hand guide them. Envelope Jacob in your arms. hold him close and protect what is yours. With Security knowing that the King of Kings and Lord of Lords is handling all matters regarding Jacob I pray REST! REST! REST!

I am praying. I am praying that all of you will feel the hugs from God right now. God, sustain Jacob and his family. Keep them safe in the shelter of your arms. Give Jacob the strength he needs to fight through the challenges. Give the whole family the energy to carry out their role in Jacob's healing and minute by minute the ability to see through your eyes and heart. Thank you for your grip of grace that holds us even we can't hang on ourselves. Father, bless this family - Becky

Many are praying at The Coastlands Church and also friends in Switzerland, Australia, Denver, Wisconsin, Florida...and many other places for Jacob RIGHT NOW as he is in surgery.
Jacob's good buddy Chris left Sun night on a previously planned mission trip to Australia and just arrived there this morning and will spread the message to their church and gather people there to pray for Jacob as well. It was difficult for him to leave at such a time as this with his heart breaking for Jacob, but knowing he can't see Jacob for a few weeks anyway helped a bit, knowing also the need to gather more prayer warriors. Thankful he can stay updated through your blog site even overseas! Brad & I look forward to meeting the rest of your family when Jacob's recovery is farther along.
Love & Blessings,
Brad, Mari & Chris King

rec'd this from a prayer warrior on my email prayer list:
Thank you so much for sending pictures of Jacob-as you do I lay hands on them and pray, knowing that God's hand is upon Jacob and that He is with him through all of this! Thank You Lord that You know the beginning from the end and that Jacob is Yours and You are taking care of him in this time of trial! May he now feel Your arms around him and may he hold You as You are holding him. May he hear Your sweet voice over him and feel Your holy touch upon his heart and his life, may unrestrained victory ring out throughout the land at all You are doing and have done and are about to do! May we tell it on the mountain tops and in the valley low, may we hear of Your good pleasure as in prayers we now do sow, may we all grow ever closer as we seek Your holy face and of the destruction that has been may there not be but a trace. May we hear Your heart for Jacob and how he delights You so, may we tell the many tells as Your Spirit now here flows! In Jesus Name! Amen!

Hi Kirkendalls, thank you for sharing your journey. This is unbelievable. We pray for you and Jacob daily.

"He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty." Ps 91:1 ~ praying for you to be able to feel His presence in your fear, that you will sense the Almighty covering you and your wonderful son.

"The LORD bless you, and keep you; the LORD make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you; the LORD lift up His countenance on you, and give you peace." (Num. 6:24-26)

We love you so much and our hearts break for you.
